Let Your Car Help You Earn Some Extra Money!

I'am John Smith and i want to utter something about the subject mentioned in the title..:)
Do you have a vintage or custom car?
If you have a vintage or custom car and live in an area with some interesting attractions or in a city with an International airport then city tours and airport picks ups are a way to earn some extra money from home.
Many travellers are looking for something a little different especially if it's for a special occasion. What could be more special than being picked up from the airport in a custom car or a drive to see the main attractions in a car that your customers have only dreamed of riding in?
Before you start to make any marketing, check with your car insurance that your existing insurance will cover this usage. If not then you will need to upgrade your insurance.
How much to charge? Generally airport transfers/ pickups will be calculated on a one way or round trip basis and not per hour. Take into consideration, waiting time at the airport, the upkeep of the vehicle, petrol, insurance as well as wear and tear.
How will you market yourself? online, business cards, local ads, visit local offices and ask if you can leave your business cards. Contact travel agencies, hotels and guest houses by e.mail with a promotion offer.
Use the internet for marketing and by doing so you will reach a much larger market including an overseas market. You don't need to have any HMTL (Hyper Text Markup Language) language to make your own website. With both Dreamweaver and FrontPage you can create your own website very easily.
Blogger and WordPress are two examples of blog sites. Within just 5 minutes you can have your own blog site just like this one. Blogger and Word Press have templates and add-ons so you can customise your own blog site.
Through face book you can create your own business page for free. This is a super way to get noticed!
Remember;
Working from home does not involve any large start-up costs.
Marketing costs will be low or even free.
How will your customers be able to book? Online? E-mail? Telephone?
How will you collect payment from your customers? You need to set up a payment method. Whatever payment method you chose, it must be secure and reliable.
Cheque, postal orders, bank transfers, Pay Pal and credit card payments are options that I shall cover in this blog. All of these payment methods can be set easily on your website.
Consider that you may not want to take the full payment online. Will you just take a deposit and the remainder will be paid on the spot?
Collecting date is important. Get all of the flight details if you are making an airport pick up and remember to check online for the accuracy of the flight details. Clarify with the customer if there is any discrepancy. Check the airport website any delays before setting off to pick up your clients. If there is a flight delay will you charge extra for waiting time?
Don't forget to have a white board made up- You will need this to write your customers names on when you are waiting for them in the arrivals hall. Much more professional looking than holding up a piece of paper with your customers name scribbled on.
Testimonials are a great way to get more customers. Encourage your customers to leave a testimonial on your website or your face book business page.
