Investing Online Is the Best Way to Go

many profits. E-businesses, or businesses that are being put on the Internet, are very popular all over the globe these days, especially since the world is becoming a global community. Almost everyone spends several hours on the Internet each day, so owners of online businesses do not have worries about reaching target customers.
Two of the reasons why venturing online is becoming more and more appealing are the Internet's accessibility and interactivity. The Internet is available to almost every person on the planet, as computers and Internet rates have become more affordable to any social class. With the Internet's accessibility, online businesses can easily advertise their products to respective customers. Also, because of the inherent quality of interactivity of the Internet, owners of businesses will find it easy to get feedback from their clients, so that they will be able to improve their goods and services. It will also be easy for customers to inquire about the products and they would not have to spend money and effort when doing so. Furthermore, they will be able to reach each other anytime of the day, since Internet services are available 24/7.
Business owners do not have to worry about splurging too much money on having their own websites, as many web hosting companies offer cheap domain registration. They present many neat packages that allow you to have your own domain, design your own website, and more of their services for less. They will help you maintain and manage your website easily, as they will provide you with the applications and tools necessary for these activities.
These days, economic reports show that it is good to invest in an online business. Currently registered online businesses are countless; almost every business owner seems to know the advantages that e-businesses have to offer. It is easy for businessmen to start a business on the Internet, too. All they have to do is to look for sites that offer cheap domain registration. They will be able to reduce the costs of operating a business, because what online business owners have to pay for are just the services that will be needed in creating and managing their own domains. In addition to these, they would not have any problems of having to pay rent and bills regularly, because everything is virtual.
E-businesses will further contribute to the growth of a global community. As every global activity and transaction is slowly being transferred to the Internet, different people and groups around the world will be closer than ever. When this happens, the global economy will, perhaps, be more stable.
These are the benefits that business owners can get once they decide to go online. They will be able to save a lot of money and reap huge profits when they avail of cheap domain registration and make their website live. In addition, they will also be able to help in the creation and growth of a global village and in the stabilization of the global economy.

Four Reasons to Hire a Professional for Your Business Needs

Many people have businesses online these days and they are often inundated with advertisements for different services that are offered to help them with their business. A lot of business owners think that they should do everything themselves. But there are some really good reasons to hire a professional person to help you with making your business the best it can be.
• Time Saving - The first reason that you should hire a professional person or business to help with the things your business needs is that it saves you time. Rather than spending all of your time doing things that take you away from your business, you can leave it to someone else to do those tasks. They will be able to do the job much faster than you will be able to do it because they know what they need to do.
• Another Set of Eyes - The second reason that you should hire a professional for helping with the business is that it gives you another set of eyes. When you are doing everything yourself, you may miss things that a professional would pick up and see themselves. So you are going to get suggestions and ideas from the professional that you wouldn't have otherwise.
• They are Professional - The third reason to hire a professional is that they are professional. They know their businesses. They make this their business. They are going to look at your business and they will know what it is that you will need to be a success. They can tell you what will help your business, what things you should try, and give you general advice.
• Fewer Mistakes - The fourth reason it's a good idea to hire a professional is that they are going to make fewer mistakes. They know what they have to do and they do their job well. They make sure that everything works the way that it should to make sure that it will help your business.
These are just four reasons that it's a good idea to hire a professional person or service to create a website, to do your content writing, and other things that you will need to be a success online. When you have an online business, remember these four things and take another good look at hiring someone else to help you with what you need. You may find it's the best decision you ever made.

Google Authorship - Why You Need It

If You Haven't Heard About Google Authorship, it's Definitely Worth Checking Out.
Google Authorship is a terrific feature that will give you an edge when people are doing a Google search. Once you have Google Authorship set up, your photo will appear beside your information in the search results. If you are trying to improve S.E.O., any time you can add an image it is instantly more attractive and inspires people to click on your website first.
It really is a great tool to implement to generate more traffic. Lots of people click on a YouTube result in Google because the video image catches their eye. You can also catch their eye by making your search results instantly more attractive by adding your photo.
When your click through rates go up from search results, you drive more traffic to your articles. If you've done your On-Page S.E.O., setting up your Google Authorship is the obvious next step.
How to Add This Professional Touch to Your Article Marketing:
Link your content to your Google+ Profile using a verified email address. Your email address must match your website, so make sure you are using an email address with the same domain as the domain of your blog.
1) Create a Google+ Profile, and upload a high quality photo of yourself.
2) Have a byline of each page of your content for your articles.
3) Verify your email at https://plus.google.com/authorship
4) Link your content by filling out "Contributor to" section of your Google+ Profile. You need to add a link to your blog in this section.
5) Use the Rich Snippet Testing Tool to make sure you're verified and see how your search results appear in the search engine at http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets
You also have the option to set up Google Authorship by linking your content to your Google+ Profile. All the instructions are clearly listed on their site.
It can take 1-2 weeks for the search engine results pages to start showing your photo, so you may need to be patient. If the Rich Snippet Testing Tool verified your account and showed your photo, it will happen.
If you are wanting more traffic, linking your website to your Google+ Profile for Google Authorship will help. A lot of people have not set up Google Authorship yet. You will definitely increase your click through rates in search results if you take advantage of this wonderful tool.

3 Steps to Get More Online Leads

In today's global economy, getting more online leads is not only good business sense, it is absolutely critical for long-term success. With 78% of the United States population online, there are over 90 million people who turn to the internet on a daily basis for information, entertainment, and solutions to their problems. If you provide any of these things (not to mention consumer products), getting more online leads must be part of your plan. By following the simple process I've outlined below, you can set up a powerful online leads funnel for your business.
Attract More Online Leads
The first step to getting more online leads is to attract more interested prospects in the first place, in the form of traffic to your website. If you Google website traffic, you will find 714 million results, which proves there is no shortage of ways to attract online leads. From directory posting, to social media, to press releases, to pay-per-click or traditional advertising, the list of tactics is extensive. The challenge lies in choosing the top 1-3 most cost-effective ways for your business and focusing all of your efforts there. As tactics "sink" or "swim", you can add new ones. But make sure to only focus on a maximum of 3 at a time. Ideally, just start with 1 at a time, perfect it, and move on to the next.
My favorite tactic for generating leads online is through Article Posting. This is an oldie but a goodie because it is still a top way to generate traffic to your website. The concept is similar to the off-line version of "getting published", but much faster and wide-reaching. Basically, you write an article about a topic of interest to your target audience and publish that article to a bunch of online article directory sites. People (your online leads) find these articles when they search on that topic. Each article you post has an Author Box at the end that links back to your website, preferably with a free call to action. In Article Posting, the article doesn't have to be long. Generally, 300-500 words is perfect for most sites. And you'd be surprised how easy it is to write 300 words. In fact, as I look down at my word counter, I see that at this point, I am at 379 words in this post. See? Piece of cake!
Capture More Online Leads
Once you get more online leads to do what you want, that is to visit to your website, what happens next? This is unfortunately where most websites drop the ball. But, with a good lead-capture plan, your website won't fall into this category.
Lead-capture is just, what is a sound like. It means filtering through as much of your website traffic into actual leads as possible. The simplest way to do this is with an opt-in form. You've likely seen and used many opt-in forms online so you probably know what I am talking about here. The concept is to offer a valuable free bonus in exchange for someone's name and email address. The way this works best for everyone is if that bonus item is something very appealing to your target audience. For example, a chiropractor could offer a free e-report on home exercises for lower back pain. These reports will most appeal to people suffering with low back pain, which is who the chiropractor is trying to attract! There are no rules about what to offer for free and it will vary from business to business, but you want to offer something of value to your prospect to earn their trust and to make sure you are attracting prospects that need and want your services.
Keep More Online Leads
Your valuable e-report and lead-capture system are doing their job and your email list is growing by leaps and bounds.
Now what?
Just as important as capturing the online leads is a step called nurturing, where you strive to turn those leads into raving fan customers by providing tons of value and instilling massive confidence. How do you do this? The simplest way is by setting up a basic automated follow-up system, often referred to as an auto responder. An auto responder is a series of scheduled prospect touch points. Very often an auto responder is simply a series of emails sent out at various times providing additional information and follow up support to the prospect. Once you set up your auto responder, it runs automatically as scheduled to provide short and long-term prospect follow up. Whenever a new person joins your list, they start at the top of your auto responder and work through the nurture steps you've set up. The customer receives a lot of relevant information and ongoing support and you are nurturing new leads effortlessly - even in your sleep!
Last Word in Online Leads
Implementing this simple online leads system to your website can be done in a day and will instantly increase your marketing efforts ten-fold. To do this, you will need to register for an email program that lets you gather leads, build a segmented list, and send emails. On my websites, I use Infusion soft, which is an extremely robust marketing software package. If you want to be serious about creating and implementing marketing automation systems on your website, I highly recommend this software. It contains everything you need to create and manage a profitable business from the ground up and works for online and brick-and-mortar businesses alike. For most, it easily pays for itself several times over each month. However, it is a lot of functionality and not every website calls for this. For a simple, user-friendly lead-capture software, check out Aweber. For a highly affordable price, you can set up a simple lead-capture campaign for your website in an afternoon. Aweber even offers a free test-drive so you can check it out risk-free!

5 Key Elements To Online Success

In today's highly sophisticated World Wide Web, there are millions of people selling products all over the internet. Naturally there will be ones that earn good revenue and also the ones who make little or no profits at all.
The one question that I have been asking myself and wondering "What are the elements of a strong Internet Business foundation?" How is it possible that people are making so much money off from the Internet every split second, even when I am asleep.
This has kept me wondering there must be certain elements that the Internet Business holds, that normal real life businesses do not have. But then again a real life store selling a product, the product itself has to me marketable, appealing and up-to-date. QUALITY is a must!
Could you imagine selling a branded bag in a dilapidated filthy shop, no one would ever want to enter. And above all what we want for any kind of business is traffic meaning people, it is clear that a perfect product in a perfect shop without people walking in to touch and feel it would be useless.
This now brings me to how can we use this kind of elements and amplify it for an online business. Let's that a look at the elements broken down.
Real Life Business elements
1. Marketability - Meaning there has to be demand for the product.
2. Shop to be sold at - Shop has to be attractive theme which correlates with the product.
3. Traffic - Shop has to have visitors.
4. System - Brand has to convert existing customers into recurring customers.
Internet Business Elements
1. Marketability - Product has to be in demand to people online.
2. Quality - Product has to have superiority.
3. Website - Products need to be placed like in a virtual shop.
4. Traffic - Products needs a means being promoted and introduced to people.
5. Membership privileges, like updates through mailing systems.
So for an online business to be successful you first have to choose what kind of product do you want to market to people, there are many ways to go about how you can find the right product to market.
Take it for instance you can use Google keyword tool which you can sign up for free and search for highly searched words to see what market is HOT on.
So if you like to cook for instance, search for maybe french recipe and see what are the results in the keywords people are using for and see if the marketing is hot for selling recipes.
So once you have found a good product you want to look into the quality of the product. It has to be up to date, have good information/useful functions, be well packaged and durable and withstand the test of time.
Once you have a product selected at hand the next thing you would be wondering how am I gonna let the world see what I have, so the back-bone to everything is your website your website has to offer support for its product, be clear on what it offers, well designed, be updated and this are very important elements that a website should have.
Last but not least your bread and butter which is your traffic, traffic is the essence of the business so bear in mind you have to target the right audience for the right products.
To sum it up, the 5 really important key elements to becoming successful in the online business are Marketability, Quality, Website, Traffic, System.
Marketability - Have to sell something people want.
Quality - Gives you good reputation and builds trust in your brand.
Website - Attractive and correlate with the product you sell
Traffic - Brings in potential customers who in turn provide with profits.
System - implemented to turn new customers into returning customers.

How to Create Engaging Content for Your Website!

When you start to think about having a content strategy for your brand and website, you have just taken a big step into a hell of a lot more work and the big unknown! If you manage your expectations and take a little dose of reality, you can create an effective content creation plan that will match your abilities with the current staff and talent you have around your business. Of course this also means setting aside or creating a new budget for storytelling. Sounds funny huh? Well a story budget or creative content budget is essential in today's markets. Gone are the days of static websites and simple text blogs. The name of the game is engagement, and from engagement with your customers you will create better products and services. Lets take a look at a few ways to engage your customers and create content for your website.
External Messaging:
For external communications you will want to focus on educating your community or ecosystem of customers. This doesn't mean pushing a product on a consumer that will turn them away from your company, but a friendly format that educates them and engages them about your services. This comes in many forms that I will detail below.
Post to your social outlets everyday (every 2hrs is best)
- This gives you an opportunity to engage with your clients
- Meet new clients who are interested in what you do or provide
- Manage your reputation
- Respond to negative feedback to adjust your relationship (Its important to be proactive not reactive here)
- Show the world you're not just a corporation, but a living breathing business that has good people working for it.
- Post pictures of your teams, events, how-to's.
- Create product videos (show your potential customers how easy it is to use your products, benefits, testimonials, how-to's)
Posting and creating content for your customers will also help your SEO tactics greatly. Remember, "content is king!"
Internal Messaging:
For internal communications there are several ways to produce fresh new content for your workers. Remember these videos should focus on being fun and informational for your company.
- Quarterly Update (Presented by an Executive)
- Monthly Support Updates (Presented by COO)
- Employee Spotlight (focus on a unique employee monthly or quarterly)
- Year in Review Video (focus on company goals that were met, revenue etc.
Like external communication, internal communication is presented to your company to build community, leadership and innovation. All of those are essential for a start-up, medium size business or corporate environment. Not to mention creating videos will bring team members together that regularly don't interact with each other. Being a part of content creation will allow workers to step away from their day to day operational jobs and into a more interactive global view of the companies goals and objectives.

2 Quick and Easy Ways to Earn an Extra 10K This Year (Giving Stuff Away for FREE)

What would an extra $10k a year do for YOUR online business bottom line? Would it allow you to expand your advertising budget? Would you re-invest in new training, or learn new skills to offer? Or maybe like many people, you'd simply take more time to actually enjoy life away from work, instead?
After all... with Summer rapidly approaching, if you share my world view, you probably believe the BEST investment you can make is more time on the beach and LESS time in the "office" as well!
Here is a bit of a different question:
What if you could literally give stuff away for FREE, and make an outrageously easy profit on the back end? It's amazing how few online entrepreneurs incorporate the allure of FREE into their business building efforts, and how powerful it can be once you do.
With that in mind, let's look at 2 super simple free offers you can make right now that can radically re-invent your business in rapid fire turn around time.....and quite literally, COULD make you rich as well. Curious to know more? Let's take a closer look below!
First, understand this: To earn an extra 10K this year, all you really need to do is increase your monthly revenue by about $825. If you're not earning anything right now that MAY sound daunting, but if you have an existing business and are already making sales... it's SUPER simple to do.
I have a complete system I use in my business I call the Builders Blueprint. Basically, it's a system for generating high value online communities for businesses of all sizes... and then selling them for great profit. BUT, one of the easiest and under utilized approaches to making money from "flipping" websites is building a back end BEFORE you begin.
For example?
What would happen if you created a brand NEW blog every 48 hours in a high value niche and offered to give it away to a local professional in your community?
Yes, you heard right... A brand new blog, with a good domain name, premium template and a few articles in local niche.
Do you think you could offer $100-$500 worth of ongoing value to that professional person in blog building, article marketing, SEO, social media strategy, or any of the plethora of other potential profit generating services EVERY online business needs?
How about affiliate offers like hosting, auto responder services and domain name purchases? You can build this in to every freebie... and literally earn a monthly commission from every NECESSARY service your customers and clients need to keep their free site optimized for maximum marketing mojo. The truth is, this is a win/win scenario for everyone involved...and you can literally grow a high value online business off of a REAL stable of clients who love and appreciate you, and by offering them deals that have real reciprocal value for each of you. (And you are ONLY limited by your imagination, there are hundreds of possible permutations of the above that work wonderful well in every industry)
Here is something that is a bit more straightforward than the above, but it works wonderfully well for coaches, consultants and passion professionals who are selling high end personal services.
Give away a full length coaching session. If your rates are $225 for 2 or 3 phone sessions per month or whatever it is that you charge, giving away a complimentary session and advertising it prominently on your site will literally triple or quadruple the interest in any phone based, or email offer. (at least that's how it works in MY business) Even if you only get 5 people a week to request a free session, and 80% don't want to continue after that, 1 new client a week at $200 a month gives you an extra $10,000 a year...and more often than not, those are people who would NOT have paid your rates up front, without the free offer to induce them. As a matter of fact, on my blog I get less than 1/2 of 1% of readers to inquire about coaching when my prices and they need to pay up front. When I use the free session offer? It bumps inquiries by WELL over 1000%....and never fails to generate an avalanche of new clients, customers and cash! (And will work equally as well for you, I promise!)
Remember - each of the approaches above can be incorporated into just about any type of business there is. If you are primarily a coach or teacher, try free offers first. If you are more of an online marketing entrepreneur or professional, try the business builders back end approach first. If you do both, offer them BOTH! There is truly no limit to what you can accomplish if you're creative and offer folks real value, and I truly believe each of these CAN make you rich if you stick with them.

Making Money Online Has Never Been Easier, You Should Just Read These Expert Tips

Making money online is very convenient and you just need to have a working internet connection. It sounds simple, but the truth is that you need to do some serious work before you start making money online. The simple principle is to make a website, create ads, make interesting products and market them online. But this may be too difficult for most of the internet users. It requires a lot of research and studying. The results may come in few months or later. You need some expert tips on the most efficient ways to make money online.
1. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing produces billions of dollars in commissions ever year. You would like to be a part of that huge market. What can you do to ensure your place as a successful affiliate? You need to successfully promote different products. The most difficult thing is the fact that many other people are promoting the same products and you need to be original. You should find your area of expertise and your specific niche. This is a good way to gain trust of your customers and they will be happy to purchase the products that you promote. Other ways of promoting are email list building, forums and social media promotion. It takes some time to research the right promoting methods. You can find the products to promote on different websites. Everyone qualifies for an affiliate, but the problem is that only the few marketers can reach the top.
2. Paid Survey
You receive many emails about paid surveys and it just looks too good to be truth. The truth is that the surveys cannot help you to earn a lot of money. They can be a good way to get some extra money. There is a huge number of online surveys. The purpose of those surveys is the same. The companies need to know more about their customers and they will pay you some money for details and your opinion about different products.
3. Article Writing
If you like to write, there are possibilities to earn money online. Article marketing is a strong tool to drive visitors to a website and that is the reason why many companies hire writers. You can either write single articles at different websites and get paid for that or you can write a batch of articles for a single customer. You should be make sure that the customer gives you an advance payment before you start writing a batch of articles. You should avoid scams and people who want free articles from you.

How to Choose a Domain Name for a Blog

A domain name for a blog is the unique address a user types into their Internet browser to navigate to a site. The domain name blog uniquely identifies the person's blog. Domain names are most often referred to as the vanity URL for a blog. For example, if BlogSpot is used the hosting domain may show in the URL as namehere-blogspot-dot-com but selecting a vanity URL would allow the URL to read www-namehere-dot-com.
When using a blog for a business or to promote a product, it is always advised to use a vanity URL that is easy for customers to remember.
Acquiring a Domain Name
Domain name blog URL's must be registered and checked against names that are already owned just like securing any website domain name. There are thousands of companies that provide domain name registering services, but some are more reliable than others. To find out if a domain name is available, simply go to an accredited registrar company and type in the name, they will list whether or not that URL is available to be secured.
Picking a Domain Name Extension
Unique addresses for web sites come with a variety of domain name extensions and so do those for domain name blog URL's. Basically, an extension is the three letters at the end of a URL after the last period. The most common is.com, but non-profit companies will often use an.org extension. Domain name shoppers will also find several new extensions such a.biz,. name,.net and two-letter extensions for certain countries such as.uk -- for the United Kingdom.
Selecting a Domain Name
If available, use.com as the extension, this is usually preferred. Most people automatically assume that is what a web site address is going to end in -- businesses may lose customers by ending a domain blog in another extension. There is a lot to consider when choosing a domain name blog - the most important is make it memorable. Choose something easy to remember, simple to spell and a phrase or word that is memorable. The domain name should reflect what kind of content a visitor would find on the blog. The maximum length of a domain name is 63 characters.
Registering a Domain Name
After choosing a domain name company to register the name, a customer will be required to provide a name, address and credit card. The data that is displayed publicly is owner's name and address and the date and time the domain was registered. Domain names are typically registered for one-year at a time and are automatically renewed at the end of each service term. Any problems with payment will result in the name being released back onto the menu of available URLs.
Having a unique domain name adds a level of professionalism to a blog or business. Having an Internet presence allows visitors to see that the site is part of the digital universe and up-to-date on new technologies.

Don't Waste Precious Online Real Estate

I'd be willing to bet that right now, right this
second, you are wasting precious online
real estate.
In other words, you are not taking advantage
of every "place" in your online marketing
that you could be using to make you money.
The biggest one many people (including myself)
often overlook:
The "Thank You" page.
Do you realize the "Thank You" page (the
page you display after someone submits an
opt-in form or even an order form) is some of
the most RESPONSIVE real estate on your site?
You should be using your "Thank You" pages
to promote some of your other products, other
opt-in lists, or affiliate products.
One of the easiest ways to INSTANTLY make
more money is to use an opt-in "Thank You"
page to simply say:
"Thank you for subscribing. You will receive
your first issue very soon."
Then under that text you can say,
"We Highly Recommend This Product..."
Then you can list information about an affiliate
product that is related to your market. This is
an easy way to send traffic to an affiliate link
so you can earn some additional income that
you didn't already have. I.e. FREE MONEY. :-)
You can do the same thing for your ORDER FORM
"Thank You" pages. Thank the customer for their
order and recommend they check out a related
product. In fact, this real estate on your site
will be the most responsive of all for other offers.
After all, that web site visitor just became the
most qualified prospect of all -- A PAYING CUSTOMER.
You know, most marketers are AFRAID to send
additional offers to their customers. But why?
Well, the thinking is simple...
"I don't want to piss them off by trying to 'pitch'
them other products."
We have all thought this way. *I* am guilty of
this myself. But you know what? We all need
to GET OVER IT.
Everyone needs to realize something -- people
buy MULTIPLE PRODUCTS when they are interested
in something. So why shouldn't *YOU* get paid when
they do?
When is the last time you went to the bookstore
to buy a book or magazine on an interest that you had
and you left the store with only ONE COPY of something?
That's right, you probably bought more than one on almost
every occasion you can think of. Customers are the
same way. So don't be afraid to send offers to your
customers.
This is a FACT: the more offers you send to your
customers, the more money you will make.
Start displaying related offers on your order form "Thank You"
pages and you'll instantly boost your income.
I did this recently on ONE of my sites and it added
an additional $3,500/month in net income. I simply took
an order form "Thank You" page that had only said,
"Thank you for your order." (and some other minor stuff)
and added a promotion for a "Recommended" product.
This was an affiliate product that I earned a commission
on when my customers visited the link and then made
a purchase.
Here's something else for you to understand...
When people are ordering from you, their TRUST and
RESPECT for you is at an all-time high. If you "recommend"
another product for them to buy at this time (right after they
placed an order with you), not only will they trust your
recommendation (by the way, make sure it's a solid product
you are recommending) but they are also still in the "buying
mood" and will be more likely to buy something else at
that moment.
After making this minor modification to one of my
own "Thank You" pages, I am now making this additional
income day after day. All I did was make use of some
precious online real estate that I was overlooking --
i.e. WASTING.
So take a closer look at your web site and marketing
process and find places that you are not effectively
using to promote your other products or affiliate products.
I'd be willing to bet that there's some "unused" online
real estate you can go take advantage of right now that
would allow you to INSTANTLY make more money from
the same traffic you are already receiving.
So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this email
and go put up an offer on that unused space. Yes, NOW.

The Single Biggest Marketing Mistake Online

I have been marketing online since 1990.
Long before the Web came about. I have
been actively marketing on the Internet as
we know it today since 1994.
Yes, I'm an Internet Marketing old geezer.
I have pretty much tried it all and seen it
all online when it comes to marketing tactics.
Certainly, there are new strategies and tactics
being thought of and tested everyday, and that's
why I continue to buy new ebooks and teaching
products from others because you can never
know it all -- no matter how successful you are.
But the single biggest mistake I see online, and
have seen for many years, regardless of the
strategy being used, is one simple thing...
POOR TRACKING!
People often ask me...
"John, is there any ONE thing that you can
attribute your online success to?"
The answer is simple... TRACKING.
I am a tracking FREAK. I track everything.
And I mean EVERYTHING.
As my good friend Jonathan Mizel likes to say...
"As online marketers we are not in the 'marketing'
business we are in the MATH BUSINESS."
If you want to know the difference between
success and failure online it comes down to
one thing.
If you want to know the difference in making
10 dollars online or $10,000, it comes down
to one thing.
If you want to know if your hard work is not
going to waste, its comes down to one thing.
TRACKING.
I like to joke that the secret to being
successful in Internet Marketing is this
really complex "formula."
Then I go on to explain this exact formula...
When we do things online, such as our marketing
tests, site changes, place ads, buy clicks, do
a JV, whatever, one of TWO things happen
EVERY TIME.
Yes, only one of two things happen.
1. THEY MAKE US MONEY
2. THEY LOSE US MONEY
Amazing rocket science isn't it?
The fact of the matter is Internet Marketing
is EASY. It's an absolute JOKE to make money
when you have the basic fundamentals down, and
that you TRACK your efforts.
The tracking results will tell you what
works and what doesn't. Then it's EASY...
YOU KEEP DOING WHAT WORKS AND STOP DOING
WHAT DOESN'T!
In order to be extremely successful online
you must learn to track everything. You
must learn the value of tracking and get
used to doing it.
You make a change to a headline on your
site you must track it.
You test a different price you must track
it.
You use a different description on your
Web Site to get people to opt-in to your
list you must track it -- not just the
percentage of people that opted in, but
also the QUALITY of the people that opted
in. I.e. Are they buying or taking the
necessary ACTION you want for them to
take AFTER they have opted in?
The biggest tracking mistake people
make is lumping all of their TRAFFIC
SOURCES together when trying to determine
their conversion rates.
In other words, when someone is trying
to figure out how many people are buying
or taking a specific action when they visit
a site, they are taking their total
traffic numbers and doing the math
based on the total number of buyers
(or whatever the desired action was.)
BZZZZZZ THANKS FOR PLAYING.
Major mistake. Huge. Yet marketers are
doing it everyday. And ironically, it's
being done by some people that are making
a lot of money!
I know, because many of these people are
friends of mine and I've given them a hard
time about it. We laugh about it, but they
know it's true and they are working hard
to become better "trackers" as I hope
you will too.
(Don't worry I'm almost done with this article
and will stop rambling in a moment.)
The problem with not tracking traffic sources
(such as individual pay-per-click keywords,
link partners, search engine listings, JV
links, affiliate links, etc.) is this...
YOU CANNOT ACCURATELY DETERMINE WHAT IS
*WORKING* WHEN YOU TEST.
For example, if you run PPC campaigns for
multiple keywords (and if you track them
properly) you will find that some keywords
generate great conversion rates and sales.
Others will create sometimes NOTHING.
In fact, many will be losers. I.e. they don't
turn a profit. Yet many PPC advertisers
will continue to just lump all their PPC
traffic together, and as long as they are
making more than they are spending they
consider it a "Victory."
DUMB.
Tracking allows you to MAXIMIZE your efforts.
It allows you to SQUEEZE every last penny
of profit our of your marketing.
The other major pitfall with lumping all
of your traffic sources together is when
you go to make changes -- such as testing
prices, or different headlines, or new
bonus offers, or another guarantee, or
anything else.
If your traffic fluctuates on a given day
from a given traffic source (which it WILL)
your results will always be SKEWED.
Your conversion rates for a specific test
may in fact be HIGHER for that given day.
OH JOY!
But, guess what? If the traffic to your
site happened to fluctuate so more of it
happened to come that day from a source
that typically converts higher than the
rest of your traffic, it's very possible
that your "test" may have...
DECREASED YOUR CONVERSION.
That's right, DECREASED! But you'd never
know it because looking at your overall
traffic stats "appears" as if your
average daily conversion rate increased.
So what do you end up doing? You KEEP that
test because you think it is making
you more money.
99.999% of online marketers are making this
mistake. And people wonder why it can
be difficult to make money online.
Reason #1: Poor Tracking
We'll touch more on this topic in the near
future. I strongly believe it's the single
most importance element of Internet Marketing
success.
I know for a fact I would not have made 10%
of what I have been blessed to have made from
marketing online if I wasn't a tracking freak.
I am going to teach YOU how to become a tracking
freak for your business. It's the ONLY thing
that matters when marketing online -- because
it tells us what works and what doesn't. There
is no guesswork.

Why You Cannot Afford to Be An Anti-Social Internet

Why You Cannot Afford to Be An Anti-Social Internet
Marketer
Anti-social internet marketing is a critical flaw that
will destroy even the best, most creative sales strategies.
If you do not build relationships and follow up on them
--through personal interaction and automation--you will
spend most of your time either a) repeating trivial tasks
that can either be completed exponentially faster with the
help of other people or b) plodding away on a course
that will never result in sales conversions.
Building and maintaining marketing relationships will
help you do the following:
1. Avoid wasting time and money on outdated products
and services that are no longer valid in the internet
marketing world.
2. Create massive contact lists of people who trust you
and want to buy your products and follow your advice.
3. Diversify and maximize your sources and quantities
of leads.
4. Setup joint ventures that will generate immediate
sales for you and add potential buyers to your long-term
customer database.
5. Explode your backend sales from follow-ups.
6. Increase your credibility with potential buyers.
Many internet marketers fail to realize that personal
interaction is in fact the catalyst that allows internet
businesses to make that jump from expensive to profitable.
Rather than seeking this medium to boost their sales, they
assure themselves that the internet is an isolated,
anti-social medium, where people do not need connections
to succeed.
Again, this is a critically-flawed system of thinking.
Without personal connections, you will not succeed with
any internet business.
Here are some ways you can increase your sales conversion
numbers by integrating personal interactions into your
marketing strategy (you may already use some of these):
1. Keep your reciprocal links directory--but also actively
seek links for your main page and your other content
pages. You can do this by finding related websites
on search engines and then personally emailing the
webmasters. Explain what you like about the website--and
how your link would fit in with what they sell. Also
include where you plan to link back to their site.
Make sure all of your emails are personal. Do not make it
look like you sent out some spam robot to hammer every
webmaster with flattering, form-letter reciprocal link
requests. This will not work.
One prominent link from a high-PR, high-traffic website
can potentially reap more sales conversions for you
than 100 reciprocal links that are locked away with
thousands of other link prisoners in the dark depths of
some website's dungeon of a directory. Just
think of the time you could save! So do not be stingy.
offer partner sites good link positions. If your sales
copy is good enough to pull profits, then you do not
need to worry about links stealing potential sales
from you.
In addition to getting you more productive
reciprocal links, this strategy will also allow you to
develop important relationships that can later result in
profitable joint ventures or even free product exchanges.
2. Encourage your database of customers or mailing list--
or whatever you use to contact potential or previous
customers--to interact with you on a personal level when
you market a product or service to them. You need
to be very honest with your customers if you want them
to trust you. It is fair to say that people are generally
dissatisfied with programs they opt-in to and information
they purchase over the internet. If you have a product
that has actual value, then you should have no problem
explaining any questions they might have, which will
relieve the general queasiness related with internet
purchases. If you do not believe in the product you
are selling enough to field questions about it, then
find or make one you have enough confidence in before
you apply the ideas outlined in this article.
Scientific marketing tests have repeatedly proven that
an increase in contact (and therefore trust) correlates
with an increase sales. The more you personally contact
and talk to your potential customers, the better chance
you will have to make a sale. In the process, you will
also help people who are in your database by giving them
more information about the product or service you are
providing.
3. Join a large internet marketing community and
participate in the discussions. This is hands-down
the most effective way to shape a marketing plan.
You will get the chance to discuss important issues
with people who have succeeded and failed trying
the same exact plans you want to use. You will also
be able to quickly find out what methods are outdated
and which are still valid--which is direly important to
know when you own a business in the most dynamic market
place in the world.
In addition to this, you will be able to generate sales
by attaching a signature with a link to your website or
affiliate gateway below each of your posts.
Again, interacting with other marketers--whether it be
through emails or forums--can get you involved in
joint ventures and free product exchanges, which
will cut back your advertising costs and boost
your sales. Forums are one of the best places
to do this.
So, to reiterate:
1. You greatly inhibit your success by limiting personal
contact with other marketers and potential customers.
2. There are three major ways to improve your marketing
methods and results through personal contact: personally-
emailing webmasters for mainpage links; encouraging your
database to contact you--and then following up with
any questions they have; and joining a large internet
marketing community.
If you follow these simple steps to increase your
personal contact with buyers and marketers, you will
see an increase in growth and sales. I use these
methods to make money--and I encourage all my affiliates
to do the same.

The Problem of Perfection

How perfect do you want to be? The answer might tell you exactly why you are struggling online.
Here's why:
Web businesses are much like us as individuals: Some parts of us are magnificent; some parts need more than a little work.
And we are keenly aware of our flaws.
One of the reasons many people have trouble making money online is simply because they are so busy trying to create the "prefect" business they never really get anything profitable done.
Here are some realities you are going to have to face to be successful:
* Your website will never work perfectly. * Your product(s) will always have flaws. * You will have people email you telling you how imperfect you are--and some of them won't be very nice about it. * Technical glitches beyond your control will happen, and they will happen at the worst possible time.
Here is the most important reality for you to face:
Unless you go ahead and market your imperfect site, imperfect products and do it in an imperfect way you will never make any money.
Somehow your imperfect efforts to sell those imperfect products on your imperfect site will make you money. Potentially lots of money. Give it a try, it's worth it.

Create Viral Traffic With Brandable eBooks

Viral Traffic Building
When I started my website, one of the first things I did was place a few free eBooks up for download in order to have something for free.
Now, a couple of years down the track, 60% of my traffic is untrackable. I deduct that this has something to do with the thousands of eBooks which have been downloaded from my site.
I am the author of one of these eBooks, (How to Autorun a CD) and the others I used content from one of my old reports with reprint rights CD s.
I used the same eBook template for all the eBooks and inserted about five links at the top and bottom of each page which point directly to my main website.
One of those links points to my free eBook index which could be the reason this page is high on the "top entry" list but low in terms of search engine rankings.
The Brandable eBook
I have noticed around the Web that Internet Marketers were offering custom brandable versions of their eBooks in order to encourage distribution. The idea is that more webmasters would offer the eBook for download from their site if their URL could be branded within the pages.
Affiliate programs use this method of traffic generation along with webmasters like me who have content sites. What this means is that this technique can be used by any webmaster regardless of how big or small their site is.
How To Create a Brandable eBook
If you already know how to build simple HTML pages, all you need now is an eBook compiler (also called HTML compiler) with the capacity to brand the output file.
If you do not know how to build HTML pages but know how to edit them, then you might like the original eBook template that I use which is available free from: http://www.ezau.com/latest/articles/free-ebook-template.shtml
Selecting the Correct Compiler
In terms of right and wrong, any ebook compiler which comes with branding software can be used. So right and wrong cannot be used to describe correctness. What I mean by correct compiler is plain and simple ease of use for me, but most importantly for the end user.
You see, we need to make it as easy as possible for the end user otherwise they will put the whole project in the "too hard" basket.
I own several eBook compilers costing me from $30 to almost $100 and I find the cheapest one which is "Activ E-Book" to be the best one to use for the creation of custom brandable eBooks.
Activ E-Book creates rebrandable eBooks which means that the file can be re-branded over and over. This makes it really easy for the end user because if they make a mistake, they can start start again with the same file.
With some other HTML compilers, if you overwrite the master file, it cannot be rebranded. This could cause problems for the end user because if they make a mistake they will need to go and download the master file again. You can get around this by creating a readme file which explains not to overwrite the file but to save the file under another name. Now this could be getting into the "too hard" area for both the end user and the original author.
Offer Brandable eBook Downloads
I have started to convert my ebook downloads to brandable ebooks. I give both the master file and the branding software away for free. My stats indicate that there is no shortage of takers for my custom brandable edition of How To Autorun A CD. Now these webmasters have something to offer from their site like I did at the start without any expense of time and money.
Pitfalls To Avoid
My early eBooks had a resources page where I placed ads which pointed to my affiliate links. After some time I realized that this would not encourage other webmasters to offer the eBooks at their site.
The Solution? The resources page contains only links to other free eBook downloads. Also, I now have one sponsor ad which can also be branded with the users ClickBank Nickname. So if you want to go "viral", do not riddle your brandable eBooks with affiliate links because not many webmasters will offer them at their site.

The Two Biggest Web Site Mistakes and How to Correct

Mistake One: No reason to buy.
Think about what your visitors want. They want free information. They want solutions to their problems. Does your bio or mission statement talk to these needs and desires? Does your home page have headlines that urge your readers to click to your sales message?  Do the headlines offer a real, but outrageous benefit? Or, do you have a nice "Welcome" sign, large colorful graphics, and a long paragraph about you, your services, and experience?
Dump the long bio on your home page. Let go of large graphics. They take too long to load. If your site loads in over 10 seconds, you can wave goodbye to your visitors.
Potential clients and customers don't care much about you. They want their needs satisfied, they want solutions, and they want them now--in an easy way.
Mistake Two: You make it difficult or confusing for your visitors to buy.
Look at your Web home page today.  Do you make links out of your benefit-driven headlines to compel your visitors to go to your order-pulling sales letter? Does that copywriting sales message pull your reader to your "order page?" Once there, do you make it easy to buy? Check for dead links every few weeks. If you don't make it easy to receive what your potential customer came from, they will leave to try another easier to navigate Web site.
When you resolve these two Web mistakes, you are on your way to many more visitors who will keep returning and eventually buy your products or services.

Build and Maintain Websites For Profit

Even with limited knowledge and experience, you can build and maintain websites for profit. Here are just some ways you can do so.
1. Develop Websites for Local Businesses
Approach local business persons and sell them on the
necessity and financial benefits of having a
professional website. Local advertising may get you
started as well, but expect to get a large portion of
your business from referrals.
Charge your clients for the initial design and setup
of the website. Work with them to develop a theme for
their site based on their unique advantages over the
competition. Keep the site simple to start with so
that the cost of producing it is not prohibitive to
the business and you can complete it profitably in a
short time.
In this business, you can also make money on the
maintenance and ongoing support of the website.
Charge recurring monthly fees for such services needed
as web hosting, updates and improvements to the site`s
content, search engine optimization and submission,
increasing traffic, traffic analysis, mailing list
production and maintenance, and much more.
You don`t have to be a master Internet programmer to
provide needed, additional services. There are many
free and low cost sources of scripts and other resources
available to you on the Internet. Offer your clients
(and charge extra for) flash introductions, animated
graphics, syndicated content, traffic counters,
submission forms, chat rooms, pop-up windows,
autoresponders, and more.
2. Sell Websites on the Internet
Build web stores, search engines, shopping portals, and
other websites and sell them on the Internet.
Some develop sites from templates sold by others.
Others build websites from scratch. These websites have
been sold on the Internet as turnkey businesses through
eBay and other websites.
Another option is to take existing free services and
resell them. For example, you could take advantage of
free web stores available to you on the Internet.
Register a suitable domain name, obtain free or low
cost web space, and host that free store at your
domain on your web space. Promote your website and
increase traffic. Finally, sell your website to the
highest bidder on eBay. Be sure that either your
Reserve Price or Opening Bid is high enough to make it
profitable to you. You will need to transfer the domain
name to the buyer.
3. Become an Internet Marketer
Build your own unique website based on a niche theme
that has a sufficient market. Then tie in your content
with appropriate affiliate programs and your own as well
as other peoples` products and services.
To increase commissions and sales, you will need to
regularly maintain your site by updating content,
increasing targeted traffic, adding appropriate products
and services, et cetera.
These, then, are just a few ways that you can profit
financially from building and maintaining websites.
