Below are the things that you need to do after building your own website:
Write amazing web content. One of the best things that you can do to attract enormous traffic is to make your website a great source of useful, amazing information. So, take your time when writing your web content. Always consider the need and demand of your would-be visitors. Also, create an "about us" page. Giving your visitors an address and a phone to call would give them an assurance that you're running a legit business. Write several articles on latest topics in your niche. Offer how-to guides, FAQs, and share insider tips and trade secrets. Your goal here is to give your visitors a reason to believe that you're really an expert. That's important in earning their trust.
Blogging can do your business good. More and more ebusiness owners believe that blogs are now more popular compare to business websites. So, start your own to attract more traffic. Just like your website, make your blog visually appealing and a great source of useful information as well. However, make sure it sounds friendlier and more laid back. Write your blog posts using conversational tone. Engage your readers by asking them questions and by encouraging them to post their feedback and comments. Ensure that you update your blog on a daily basis so your loyal followers will not hesitate to check it out regularly.
PPC and display ads. Just like other people who are starting out in this endeavor, I'm sure you want high quality traffic and I'm sure you want it fast. The best and fastest way you can get this is through PPC and display ads that will be shown on search page results and on websites that are visited by your potential clients on a regular basis. The key here is making your ads truly compelling that your prospects wouldn't be able to resist them. Send your traffic to a landing page that converts.
Article marketing. While you're running your paid advertising campaign, attract more traffic through article marketing. This is very effective although it cannot promise you quality traffic overnight. Write several articles based on the most popular keywords in your niche. Then, distribute them on directories, forums, and relevant blogs. When your target audience find these articles online, you'll get the chance to send them to your website through your resource box. These people will not mind paying you a visit if your articles speak volumes about your expertise in your niche.
Social media marketing. Never ignore the power of social networking sites these days. You need to realize that millions of people from across the globe are spending at least one hour per day on these portals. So, invade these sites and use them to your advantage. Use them to build relationship with your customers and to showcase your expertise in your niche. You can also use them to feed your prospects with information about your programs and your marketing gimmicks.
